I used to go here every once and a while because the food here is "not bad" for FL Chinese food. The owner Sam is quirky but nice. Last time I went some young girl no smile no greet sat us at a dirty table. I asked here to clean it and she said it was just water spots. The table was sticky and I asked her to clean it. Which she did with what looked like a bottle of water. She had an attitude so we left and wont be back. Sam your food isn't that good that people are going to put up with dirty tables and an attitude!

The food was so beyond gross. Sushi was not fresh or made by a trained sushi chef. Chinese entrees were lacking flavor, chicken was mushy with hard bits that I don't want to know what they were. Plus the size of the meat and vegetables were so large a knife and fork were required. This is Chinese food and you should be able to eat it with chop sticks. If you ever want Good Chinese food, don't go here.

Has online ordering system and doesnt check it. Waited an 90min for an order to show up. Called to check on it and it wasnt even put in. Thats very disappointing. Not a way to get customers. Id give it 0 stars and look for another place.

Food was fair at best. Not very exciting to say the last. Disappointing. Fried shrimp was extremely greasy. Soup was too salty.

I have ordered takeout here about 6 times overall; however, I won't eat here again. I ordered a curry dish one time, and when I received it, there was absolutely no curry spice in the dish. I ordered Summer Rolls just last weekend; the noodles inside were so dried out they were crunchy, and I ended up throwing them away after one bite out of each. I ordered fried rice; the rice was not fried but simply heated with the few paltry peas and carrots in it then doused with soy sauce--there is a big difference between fried rice and rice with soy sauce sprinkled over it. Overall, the quality of the food is poor and has steadily worsened since the first time I ordered her (about a year ago). Don't waste your money here; there are other places in Lake Mary that are of a higher quality than this place.

The ginger salad is incredible. We stopped in for a quick meal and were very impressed by the speed of service and food quality. We will be back!

I found Lees Palace on Yelp, and it was the only place that I could find that had walnut shrimp! But overall I ordered the house fried rice and walnut shrimp. The rice was to die for the chicken in it was juicy chunks and I kept going back at it all night. The woman I talked to over the phone was very helpful in helping me figure out what they had to offer and their proportions to fit my party. Delivery was about 35-40 minutes and I live by the mall so it wasn't very long of a wait. I could say this is my place of choice for Chinese.

I was trapped and stuck waiting for an extraordinary amount of time at a doctor's office. Yelp had great things to say about Lee's Palace nearby, so I put in a call for lunch delivery to the waiting room. The restaurant sounded incredibly busy in the background, and it was right at noon on a Friday, so I was expecting a 45-75 minute wait at least. Nineteen minutes later a delivery guy appeared. Friendly telephone interaction and fast delivery, and... the orange chicken was still steaming hot and super delicious !!! Delightfully crisp, and generous portion with a perfectly spicy sticky sauce. One of my fortune cookies read: Your charm has inspired a secret admirer...Well right back at you ... As I'm a not-so-secret admirer of Lee's Palace now !!

This place reminds me of NYC Chinese restaurants. Mom and Pop place. Excellent food and great prices.

Nasty! The delivery was fast and the delivery guy was very nice. The food however is very nasty. The chicken was so dry i could hardly chew it, the crabbragoon and egg roll tasted like they were fried twice in oil that hasn't been changed in years! I ate 2 bites of everything and tossed the rest. Never ordering from here again $20 for 1 nasty meal I will never get back!

I had lunch here 2 weeks ago and was the only one there. I sat next to the typical strip mall window and was introduced to several flys. That's a bad sign! My seat was covered in crumbs and remnants of earlier guests. My food came out rather quickly but I ran out of water fast. For 10 min. I tried to get someones attention in the kitchen for a refill but was ignored??!! Finally got a refill on water and I noticed some type of fungus / mold ball swirling around the bottom.. YUK!! Take your business elsewhere!!!

Don't listen to the sub-4-star reviews on here. Lee's is the best Chinese place in Lake Mary. The food is fresh, the service is quick, the owner is welcoming and friendly, and the prices are fair. I have had NY Chinese (in NY). There aren't a ton of places to get NY-style Chinese in this area . . . but Lee's isn't far off. Overall, it is unpretentious and tasty. I've never been disappointed.

Eh....it was ok. Typical Florida Chinese restaurant. Prices a bit more than typical, so was hoping for more than typical. Egg rolls dinky. Was told on phone Szechuan chicken would have mushrooms and water chestnuts --had neither. Did delivery. Said "free" on website....but there is a charge....though nominal. Delivery person fast and friendly. Spent nearly $50 and got one fortune cookie. :-(. Food was good, and fresh, just not fantastic. I'll eat there again, though wont run there. Bf just said his seafood nest in bread bowl was exceptional :-)

Did delivery. Phone service was great, delivery on a Saturday night only 30 minutes and food was pretty good. Solid meal but wasn't great. Food is 3 stars and service was 5. Will order again.

OK, perhaps I have high expectations for Chinese food in Florida. But I had hoped this place would come close. The food seems reasonably fresh but it's average for Florida and not worth it for those that have enjoyed NY, NJ area chinese food. Was surprised how it was compared to the reviews. I'd take a pass unless you have to have an egg role and fried rice. On the positive side - dumpling were not bad. Actually enjoyed them but for all I know they could have been frozen and deep fried. Everything is good when it's deep fried, right?

Had the Vietnamese noodle soup to go. The components of the soup were packaged separately, and I was able to combine the ingredients myself when I got home, which I think is a very nice touch. Soup was good , not great, I will definitely try again and see if my experience is consistent and give an even better rating.

My wife wanted Chinese tonight and they had free delivery for an order of 15 dollars or more. Pretty good, the portions we had were large. a very good choice for Chinese in the lake Mary area.

Lee's is our favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Their wonton soup is awesome, especially topped with their fried wonton noodles (not your usual skinny, grocery store type). I've tried their sushi, which is just OK. Stick with the chinese items. The decor is very nice for a strip mall restaurant.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
